Our Football insiders for NFL Expert Picks report that the landscape has changed in the NFL with all the recent offseason trades which will make a significant difference in your fantasy Football picks for the AFC. The AFC has a lot of talent to choice from when drafting your fantasy team but our NFL Picks Experts will show you two players you want on your team that will benefit from their teams changes and have breakout seasons.
The AFC obvious choices at the quarterback position are Peyton Manny and Tom Brady if you can get them in your draft but the sleeper player to watch at the quarterback position in the AFC is Chad Henne of the Miami Dolphins. Heene was thrown into the fire last season after Chad Pennington went down with an injury and ended the season going 7-7 throwing 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. These numbers do not stand out by any means although if you look inside the number and you'll see an NFL star on the rise.
Henne showed mental toughness bouncing back from tough games in his first season as a starter and Bill Parcells went out and got him exactly what he needed to increase his confidence even more. Henne already has a one of the NFL's best running game to support him and now he will have the best tight end in the NFL as his security blanket in Brandon Marshall. With Marshall as an option this season, he will open up the field for Henne; give him a big target to throw to and a player who will score touchdowns inside the red zone. The Dolphins offense will open up the playbook for Henne after a year as a starter under his belt as his completions will increase, passer rating and touchdowns while limiting his interceptions.
The Cincinnati Bengals recent acquisition of Terrell Owens will cause AFC defenses major headaches and our football insiders for NFL Expert Picks project Owens to have a breakout season. For the first time in his career since his days at San Francisco, Terrell Owens will have a Pro Bowl receiver in Chad Ochocinco on the opposite side of him and one of the most accurate quarterbacks with a strong arm to get him the ball. Owens will be also be surrounded by an offensive that has a stud running back in Cedrick Benson who rushed for 1,251 yards last season and last year's 1st round draft pick in tight end Jermaine Gresham who missed last season with an injury.
Owens has been a #1 receiver everywhere he has gone and he will be the Cincinnati Bengals homerun threat this season and the field will open up with all the options that Palmer has at his disposal this season. This will also be Carson Palmers' second full season after coming back from an injury and he is one of the most accurate NFL quarterbacks in the league when he has time to throw. Owens has not lost a step and is still one of the best receivers in the NFL not to mention the contract is filled with incentives that he will be eager to fulfill. Look for Owens to have his best season since he was with the Philadelphia Eagles and you want him as one of your top fantasy NFL Picks in your draft.
